Christians Against Poverty Jersey provides sustainable poverty relief by providing courses which teach our delegates vital budgeting skills that will last a lifetime.
We have coaches trained to give two free courses:
- CAP Money – a 3 week course run in the evenings across different venues in the island. The course teaches budgeting skills and a simple cash based system. Delegates learn to manage their money better and learn to budget, save and spend well.
- CAP Life Skills – an 8 week course run in St Helier. It teaches skills needed to survive on a low income. The course will equip delegates with tools such as how to eat well on a budget, and how to make their money go further. Each session finishes with a free lunch
