CLIC Sargent Cancer Care for Children
Membership Number: AJC43 / Registered Charity Number: 384
The aim of CLIC Sargent (Jersey) is to ensure that every child and young person with cancer and their family receive the support they need. We offer support to anyone living on the Island who is diagnosed before their 21st birthday. We work alongside the multi-disciplinary team at the hospital and with other agencies to achieve this.We respond to the needs of the sick child and their family at a difficult and stressful time with finical and practical support. We were formed in Jersey in 1974 as the Malcolm Sargent Fund, when the parent charity merged with CLIC (Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood) in 2005, we became CLIC Sargent (Jersey). We are an independent local charity with links to CLIC Sargent, Britain's leading children's cancer charity. We receive no public funding and rely solely on donations and fundraising to allow us to help children and young people with cancer and leukaemia. If you are interested in running a fundraising event for us, please contact us so we can send you a fundraising pack. If you would be interested in supporting our fundraising events, please send us an email and we can add you to our mailing list.We retain all of the money that is raised in the island so that is can be spent solely on Jersey children and their families.CLIC Sargent Cancer Care for Children (jersey) is registered with the Royal Court of Jersey.
