Freedom Church is a busy and active church and there’s always something going on. In January 2012 we bought the Odeon Cinema in Jersey which we have renamed Freedom Centre. It was an amazing opportunity to purchase such a large building in the very heart of St Helier and we’re passionate about it becoming a centre that the community can call home and from which we reach out to meet the needs of those around us.

We love gathering together on a Sunday, but church is so much more than just Sunday meetings. we have lots of smaller groups that meet in the week for friendship, activities & support. We love to interact with the local community and run a Giveaway every week where clothing, books, toys and gifts are available free to those in need. A baby and toddler group is also open on Mondays in term-time.

Further plans are in place to develop other parts of Freedom Centre to include a soft play area and café where families can come and enjoy time together.

For the last 16 years we have supported the brave walkers taking part in the Island Walk by hosting a checkpoint and supplying refreshments, massage, music, a positive environment and as much encouragement as possible.

We also support other local charities such as Grace Trust and Street Pastors and further afield we support work going on in Burkina Faso, Africa and India.
